I plan on running Adobe master suite and Maya 2010. I don’t know much about computer hardware. I know I should look for a good graphics card *headscratch* I’ll go for a desktop w/ two monitors. Those that use Maya, tend to run on windows and not mac (it just works better) so for compatibility I’ll probably go for a windows operating system. I need a Really good deal. I get a wireless adapter and installed it, only did not have to install a drive for it because Vista already had one. The funny thing is the drive was the same as the one that came on the disc. Will as it turns out the drive was bad.

So has anyone ever gotten a piece of hardware and could not use it because of a bad drive? If so did it **** you off to the point that you wanted to throw your computer out the window?

I know this maybe hard to answer specifically and fully. Even a general and simple answer would be great here. I’m not sure how the hardware can be told what to do all through 1s and 0s. How can they know 1 is on and 0 is off? How does the binary code touch the hardware, through the operating system, and tell a component what to do?
