Im not very savvy when it comes to computer hardware, i know more about software. i just bought a used notebook hp pavilion dv 4000. it has a 1.60 ghz processor, 512 mb of ram and a 60 gig hardrive. id like to upgrade it to a 2 gigs of ram and at least a 2.00 ghz duo core processor. and upgrade the dvd drive to an RW dvd drive. i can get my hands on the 2 gigs for free, but as for the rest im not sure that if it can be upgraded to that… would it be worth the cost, or should i just try to find a new one. (the laptop cost me 200.00) im sure i would eventually want a bigger hard-drive too, but that can wait. i dont think i want to spend much more than 300 getting it to that point…
