I also want to know, on a side note, if I were to buy a 4x SLI slot board instead of a 2x board, is it more work for the CPU? Does it actually slow down my computer at all? Asus 560 SLI – Does this keep up with my other parts?

PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ THIS, I NEED YOUR HELP
this is about 4th time to happen to my computer,

1) computer freezes

2) i don’t know what to do since pressing ANY key wont do a thing

3) i pressed restart button on cpu

4) when pc restarts, monitor says that it isn’t connected to the pc, and keyboard lights are not on which means they are not connected

what i usually do:
i remove all cables, open my pc box, get the video card off and use compressed air to blow off dust and place it back again
(i had the idea of doing this because the first time i encountered this problem, i learned that it’s the video card’s problem and i had it replaced, since the video card, a geforce 256mb nvidia is new, i just check if there is something wrong)
and when i put it back, lock my pc box, put all the cables back, it will be working again

but now it won’t, i think all the hardware are not connected, but the usb ports are still working since i found that the mouse is lighting when i insert it on.
what should i do?

I mainly use my computer for playing rpg and fps games but lately I’ve been getting alot of computer stuttering (stops like every 7 seconds) and a low rate of frames per second.

I have a dell inspiron 5100-
Intel (R) Pentium (R) 4 CPU 2.66GHz, 2.66GHz, 512mb of RAM.

I’ve run defrags, error checked, deleted everything I can but I still get bad performance…

I don’t know a whole lot about computer hardware, should I upgrade my RAM from 512mb? Should I go for a new processor? Or is there something else I can do?
