hello, this is my 2nd time building a computer and i just cannot seem to get it to work. heres a list of my hardware

motherboard – msi p43 neo3-f
VGA- Palit 9600GSO 768mb 192-bit
processor – e2180 2.0ghz
antec earthwatt 650W
zalman cpu fan
computer case – antec three hundred
i have 1 dvd drive and 1 hardrive

ok, so heres the thing-
i plugged everything in according to the motherboard manual but the computer doesn’t turn on, none of the fans or anything, 0 signs of life. then
i accidently unplugged the 4-pin power supply (the cable that powers the cpu) and when i hit the power button all the fans turn on ( power supply fan, cpu fan, case fans, vga fan, etc.)

anyone ever have this problem b4? i read it was because of a faulty power supply or motherboard. but they’re both new so i really dont think this is the problem. please help
oh, i also have 2gb OCZ ram

When I couldn’t get the pictures off of my cell phone, I was given a cord to plug into the USB to see if that would work. Since I was never given the software for it, we never used it. However, many months later, it is still looking for the software. I want it removed because it causes the computer to load up slow. Any advise that is simple & easy would be appreciated. About two weeks ago my computer contracted a virus and I installed Malware, Ad-Aware, Avast, and Spybot scanners to get rid of it. After I ran the tests and all scans came up clear, I thought my computer was fine.

I tried to plug in my iPod one day and found that it iTunes nor my computer would recognize my iPod. After I ran a diagnostic test that showed it was not connected, I clicked on “help” and this brought me to a Microsoft page where there was a “fix it for me” button. After I installed the software, which is “DeleteUpperandLowerFiltersForUSBorExternalHardDiskDrive”, my computer automatically restarted.

Upon reloading, a blue error screen came up saying that there was damaged hardware on my computer and it could not run. I click on restoring it to the options it was set on the last time it ran and Windows came back, but very, very slowly.

I tried to uninstall the software which was sitting on my desktop and it told me the software was not on my computer so I deleted the “Windows Installer Package.”

I don’t know what this has done to my computer or if I’ll have another problem when I next boot it up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
