Is there a program that will go through my computer’s hardware and tell me if something isn’t working right?
Saturday, January 9th, 2010I have a computer that I built myself and lately weird stuff has been happening and I tried replacing all the components and nothing helped.
So I figured it was the motherboard so I sent that in to be replaced and they sent me a new one and the same thing is still happening.
So I was hoping there would be a program I could run and tell me which component is malfunctioning.

Custom building computer hardware?
Thursday, June 4th, 2009Ok, so I know the whole process of building a computer, but I really make alot of mistakes when it comes to choosing the hardware and making sure if its compatible with everything etc… So i’m planning to build 2 computers 1 for each of my children. It might be a dumb question for some out there, but can someone confirm that my hardware are compatible? thank you very much for your time.
Comp. 1
Motherboard: GA-MA770-UD3 (ATX)
Processor: AMD Athlon X2 4850e (Dual Core)
Case: Antec 300 (ATX)
PSU:I have a unused PSU 430 watts for ATX so I’m sure that this will work.
Comp. 2 (This one is my main concern. I’ve never built a quad core before so I’m not positive if this setup works.)
Motherboard: GA-MA78G-DS3H (ATX)
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 920 (Quad Core)
Case: Antec 300 (ATX)
PSU: Broadway Com Corp Okia 650W (ATX)
You might wonder why I didnt put video card, RAM etc but I am 100% sure those work so… Thanks for your help!!!

I need someone that knows about computer Hardware to answer this?
Wednesday, June 25th, 2008Ok, here is the situation:
I just got a computer built, but I am not happy with the motherboard because I cannot crossfire my ATI graphics card (ATI Radeon HD 4800 series)
Here is my mother board:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131340
Hear is the Motherboard I want:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131331
Would it still work if I took all of my hardware (ram, cpu, gpu, etc.) and put it on the motherboard I want? Im also planning on changing my case because the case I have now is quiet cheap.
Anyway let me know, Thanks!
Sorry, the Motherboard I listed is the wrong one… Here is the one I want, would it work?
